ReadySetPrep Privacy Notice

ReadySetPrep account features use a parent or guardian login so student practice and assessment history can be connected to the correct account.

Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not stored in ReadySetPrep page code or browser-profile records.

Assessment and practice data may be stored in the cloud and cached in the browser for faster loading. The hosting and authentication providers may also keep standard technical logs under their own terms and privacy policies.

For parents and teachers

Use a parent or guardian email for the account. A student first name, nickname, initials, or teacher-assigned name can be used for the student profile. Do not enter phone numbers, home addresses, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Guest use

ReadySetPrep can be used without creating an account. For guest users, test progress, assessment history, and practice progress are stored in that browser. Guest data may not be available on another device and can be lost if browser site data is cleared.

When a user later signs in and selects a student, ReadySetPrep may offer or perform migration of eligible browser-saved progress into that student's account as described in the product setup.

Accounts, student profiles, and progress data

When account features are enabled, ReadySetPrep uses authentication and cloud storage to keep a parent or guardian account connected to one or more student profiles. The service may store the account email, parent or guardian display name, student name, selected practice level, saved test progress, answers, scores, assessment history, practice progress, flags, and completion dates.

Student progress is associated with the signed-in account and selected student so it can be available across devices. Access controls are designed so authenticated users can access only records associated with their own account.

A browser cache may also keep a student-specific copy of progress data to make the site load quickly and support the existing practice experience. Signing out removes the active account/student selection from the browser but does not delete cloud assessment history.
